Dear Colleagues,
At the outset,I express my sincere thanks and gratitude to each one of you for the faith and confidence reposed on me in choosing me as the 6thpresident of APOS.
APOS has a marked place in sharing immense knowledge in different fields of ophthalmology to enhance our skills and to deal with challenges ahead in ophthalmicinnovations which will provide a new direction to ourIndian community in itsjourney ending the blindness and related diseases in this 21st century.
I along with my team aim to take the academic activities to the newer heights, encouraging the young talented ophthalmologists, organising sub-speciality CME programmes, PG training programmes, Wet Labs, participating in community programmes etc.
I hope that along with my team, we will work hard in maintaining the dignity and decorum of APOS and reach our future goals with your esteemed and constructive cooperationof guidance,experience, knowledge and wisdom to inspire all our activities.
